Convene & roll call.

Review and approve minutes from last meeting.

All

  • Minutes approved by acclamation.

GitHub FYI

All

  • Rob will check with Maoo on whether this is FINOS-specific or GitHub-wide.

5 min

AquaQ now has CCLA in place for TorQ!

All

  • Best to coordinate with Maoo for next steps.

    • Knows how one might move TorQ under the FINOS GitHub area.

    • Also see if any of the CI / CD, code scanning, license scanning is applicable to kdb/q.

15 min

Look over pull request:

All

  • Comments already on the PR!

  • Aaron has a similar utility in his GitHub.

  • Table column renamer might be easy but useful.

    • One idiom is: x xcol x xcols y

    • However, one which doesn't change column ordering would have wider appeal.

    • 3.6 2018.08.24 release of q supports passing a dictionary.

10 min

Look over some adavies42 utilities for prioritization.

All

  • Utility which allows q to be used in a UNIX pipeline sparked some conversation.

    • UNIX text utilities don't support grouping that well.

    • Some potential use cases for log scraping / analysis.
