Data Technologies Program

Program deprecation notice

Notice: Per PMC decision, this program was disbanded in May 2020 and its projects now continue to exist as high-level projects under the FINOS Project Catalog.


This Program was formed to support open collaboration around technology and tools supporting the common lifecycle of data in financial services. The common data lifecycle is defined as any activity required to extract value from data, including but not limited to: acquisition, storage, governance, processing, and distribution. Sample projects potentially supported by the program would include Hadoop-based time series solutions, graph database technologies, data analytics libraries, governance tools, etc.

Program Operations Policy

The Data Technologies Program uses the Foundation's Revised (7-17-2019) Standard Program Operations Policy (adopted 7-29-2019).

Approved Program Proposal

The Data Technologies Program was approved by the Foundation's Board on 2018/07/11.
