  • Define initial proceedings for working group

  •  Evaluation of Desktop Wrapper technology currently used in Symphony (Minuet) and in the ecosystem (e.g. OpenFin)

  •  Identify the API commonalities to ensure maximum adoption 

  •  Propose applicable integrations under the Foundation umbrella 

  •  Lawrence: original purpose was only for the Desktop / Wrapper API, so really of Minuet

    •  Governance of Minuet

    •  API exposed by the Desktop Wrapper

  •  John: more specifically interested to the further development of Minuet

  •  Lawrence+James: convergence strategy with OpenFin + Minuet

  •  John: Ensuring the evolution of Minuet in a way that can integrate and use in other firms

  •  James: Desktop API should be more similar (or unified) with other APIs

  •  James: ensuring that focus is not on the APIs, but on the wrapper technology convergence

  •  Setting priorities (of the wrapper APIs) on functionalities and contributions

  •  Separate Symphony features vs features of the Wrapper technology

  •  Whats in the open vs what’s proprietary
