Key points from the discussion included:

  • Jason Nelson suggested starting work on the artifacts for one specific service in order to begin proving out the process. This will be an iterative process while the group begins working together, and understanding effort to produce the artifacts. The intention going forward would be to work on multiple services in parallel.
  • Jason proposed starting with AWS Dynamo DB and while not every participating firm uses AWS it was agreed that it's best to get going and this services is fine.
  • The group discussed doing an Azure service in the next round.
  • The following individuals volunteered to work on the artifacts, filling the specific roles defined in the last meeting.
    • Compliance Framework Mapping - Tony Chau
    • Peer Reviewer - Gavin Manning
    • Codified Controls Development - Freddie Leadsom, Eric Tice (limited bandwidth for next few weeks), Anthony Golia
    • Cloud Servie Effort - Tosha Ellison
  • Jason agreed to send emails to volunteers with relevant info.
  • The group will review progress on the next call.
