• This group not trying to decide WHAT should be shared.  

• This is useful for FDC3 but also has industry wide application

• Goal, in 2 years from now, no longer debate of how data looks when coming from a Financial institutions because  standards have been defined.

• Having a simple, standard way to refer to instruments (references)

Agreed that Instruments means references

Includes:

• Optional name tag

• Industry standard IDs

• Starting from basic ticker signal

• Industry standards

• But could be any type of internal identifier
