RFQ Working Group Status Update and Feedback on RFQ and Order Objects

• Updated WG on Board Mtg presentation

• Reiterated Board confirmed focus of WG should be tangible benefit rather than just a set of principles

• Gave overview of NY Meetup

Will:

• Next stage/OSSF from FO perspective, get feedback about initial objects that have been defined, get input on next set of products group can kick off & backed by use cases

• Generic rates object

• Asked group to define additional trade objects

• Interconnectivity with FDC3

• Where is there use case and object that can be connected

• Accelerate definition of next few products

• They have 9 use cases & some will be relevant to FO WG

• Push from FDC3 use case to give to FO WG

Feedback from group

1. Version that fits with FDC3 object

2. Rates object template readily available

3. Reference implementation? What would template look like?

4. Per Johan - could be like what W3C has or Javascript school (“try it” functionality)

5. If someone is using objects (in the wild), give them an example of how we are using it

Rob was asked for update on approaches/suggestions

1. Tomorrow’s FDC3 PMC meeting - Mao will present documentation and how we build that in a more consumable way

2. Next step will be to get feedback on that example

3. Looking for balance in how to create balanced, usable, well organized documentation.

4. FDC3 happens to be further ahead on this right now

5. FO will be similar but not the same

6. Requested documentation examples from the group (that they run across)
