Context Data Standard Proposed for Ratification

Background

On Monday, November 5, 2018, in accordance with the FDC3 Standards Ratification Process, the Context Data Working Group (merged with Intents WG) reached consensus on the move to ratify the following:

1. FDC3 Context Data Specification Draft - providing an overview, assumptions and examples of the proposed standard
2. Context Schema - expressed as a TypeScript type definition of the proposed standard

The standard proposal now enters the two week public comment period before being presented for ratification by the FDC3 Program Management Committee (PMC).

Action items

During the two week public comment period, we invite you to 

• add comments to this page,
• raise an issue at the FDC3 / ContextData GitHub repo,
• start a new topic on the FDC3 Context Data Working Group Google Group by sending an email to fdc3-context-data@finos.org,
• or reach out to tim.kolecke@citadel.com if you want to comment, but are unable to use the above channels.
