Data Analytics Visualization Program

Welcome to the collaboration space for the Data Analytics Visualization Program!  This Program was formed to support open collaboration on technology and tooling focused on user driven data analytics & visualization. This will include the visualization of all common data structures found across financial services in both their static and streaming form, including: time series, tabular, order book & hierarchical data and also complex object structures.

Across every firm in financial services there is a large overlap in work being done to integrate, extend and, in some cases, custom build data visualization components for a range of common use-cases. Further to this, the is also significant overlap in work being done to construct dashboards and other connected desktop applications containing these visual elements. This program aims to bring together these common
aspects to collaborate together in the open to provide robust, well integrated user focused solutions.

This program will cover both the rendering components and also client/UI side data modelling concerns.

The working groups within the Data Analytics Visualization program will partner with other FINOS programs, e.g., Data Technologies, FDC3 and Financial Objects, which are focused on data modeling, production and analytics to help ensure robust end-to-end integration can be achieved.
