James McLeod (Unlicensed) would like to walk the team through how GitHub can be used to track the CSC agenda and minutes as demonstrated in the FINOS Open Developer Platform on 25th March.

Meeting Notes

  • It was confirmed by Dominic Dumrauf that Wudong Liu demonstrated BDD tested Azure scripts that align with CitiHub methodologies.
  • Wudong Liu confirmed the BDD tested Azure scripts are still work in progress, so domain level input would be valuable.
  • Matt Gall asked for suggestions on how the CitiHub Compliance as Code can be contributed to open source whilst still being commoditised.
  • Jamil Mina from Red Hat confirmed there are multiple banks looking to solve the Cloud Service Certification problem in isolation.
  • Tosha Ellison suggested to Peter Thomas, FINOS Open Source Readiness can help unite teams on how to clear blockers to contribution. 
  • Open Source Readiness can also help find solutions to specific problems.
  • Peter Thomas confirmed it'll be 3 or 4 weeks before Deutsche Bank would be able to contribute scripts to FINOS, so OSR might not be needed until then.

Action Items

  • James McLeod (Unlicensed) to coordinate - Peter Thomas suggested connecting with Matt Gall to align methodologies, as the CitiHub team are advising a different area of Deutsche Bank.
  • James McLeod (Unlicensed) to coordinate - Peter Thomas would like suggestions on what would be useful to contribute to FINOS.
  • James McLeod (Unlicensed) to coordinate - Jamil Mina suggests Red Hat conduct a session where the Red Hat team can help answer how to commoditise open source software.
