Frank promoted Jonathan Teper to Google Group owner to help in administering new members into distribution list. 

Nimit took us through the current proposal.  

Frank wanted to clarify whether namespace should be included in the application definition? /apps/services.notifications vs /apps/type.notifications results in a different application definition for notifications.  Is the namespace just a directory location for an application definition or part of the identification of the definition.  Clarification needed.

Manifest can be published by any endpoint, but can it also be an extension of the AppD application definition (extension of schema)?  

From Leslie and Frank, what are the required vs optional attributes for all definitions (application directory and manifest).  The schema diagram shows bold vs normal text representing required vs optional. 

From Leslie (and Frank agrees), consider creating a "Type" attribute for Manifests, so that there can be extensibility in application definitions based on known types. 

Frank - do we allow for optional attributes in any definition?  More to think about here.
