ESC Member leads election

The Bylaws and Platinum Member Policies provide for the election of a single ESC Advisor by the Platinum Members, voting as a class. 

The requirements for nominating and electing an ESC Advisor is described in the Platinum Member Policies as follows:

  • Any Platinum Member in good standing may nominate a qualified person to stand for election as an ESC Advisor representing the Platinum Members;
  • At least sixty (60) days prior to the date scheduled for the selection of an ESC Advisor to represent the Platinum Members, the Executive Director will seek nominations for ESC Advisor and shall publish the nominees’ names promptly thereafter; and
  • On the designated date each Platinum Member will then vote (either at a meeting of the Platinum Members or via written consent pursuant to the Bylaws) for no more than one of the qualified nominees.  The nominee with the greatest number of votes shall be duly appointed as an ESC Advisor representing the Platinum Members.

Election process

  1. The Foundation's Executive Director requested nominations from Platinum Members on [NOTICE DATE]. 
  2. Members should submit their nominations (one per Member) to Aaron Williamson using the Nomination Form on or before [NOMINATION DATE]. 
  3. Members can discuss nominees on the Platinum Members list at platinum-members@symphony.foundation
  4. The election will be held by written ballot on or after [NOTICE DATE+60].
