Agenda
Time | Item | Who | Notes from the Meeting |
---|---|---|---|
5 min | Convene & roll call | ||
5 min | Update on steps to "Activate" Plexus Interop Project | James McLeod (Unlicensed) gave an update on the state of the work to take the Plexus Interop Project to "Activation" state. | |
30 min | Statement on April FINOS Board Meeting decision to "deprecate" programs, and impact on Plexus PMC Program | Deprecation means that it is up to the Program to decide whether to continue operating as a program, or to bifurcate to separate project with governance running independently for each. The recommendation from the board is to become a single project, "Plexus", with 2 respositories. However, it is up to this PMC. This may allow us to address the long-running issue of the attribution of Plexus to the API project. Proposal: Deprecate program move to a single project, with two repos. Moved by Paul Whitby. Motion passed. | |
10 min | AOB & adjourn | Initial JPMC discussion has occurred about looking at the framework; JPMC POC is ex-Citi who has background in the City Velocity single dealer platform Also possible interest from RBC in Plexus through a FINOS board member. |
Decisions Made
- Deprecate program move to a single project, with two repos.
