James McLeod (Unlicensed) gave an update on the state of the work to take the Plexus Interop Project to "Activation" state.

Deprecation means that it is up to the Program to decide whether to continue operating as a program, or to bifurcate to separate project with governance running independently for each. The recommendation from the board is to become a single project, "Plexus", with 2 respositories. However, it is up to this PMC.

This may allow us to address the long-running issue of the attribution of Plexus to the API project.

Proposal: Deprecate program move to a single project, with two repos. Moved by Paul Whitby. Motion passed.

The PMC agreed to proceed with deprecating the Plexus Program and moving to a Project structure with a Single Project with 2 repositories (interop and api), with the option in future to separate to 2 projects.

Initial JPMC discussion has occurred about looking at the framework; JPMC POC is ex-Citi who has background in the City Velocity single dealer platform 

Also possible interest from RBC in Plexus through a FINOS board member.
